About Us
The Woodward Industrial Foundation is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of economic and community development in Woodward and surrounding areas. Since our establishment in 1956, we have collaborated with local, state, and national leaders to champion the interests of Woodward while fostering economic diversity across Northwest Oklahoma. Our mission is to make this region a thriving place to live, work, and raise a family.
What We Do
Economic Development
We are deeply involved in initiatives to attract and retain industries in Northwest Oklahoma. By fostering relationships with businesses and government entities, we aim to create jobs and boost the local economy. Our efforts focus on diversifying the economic landscape, ensuring long-term stability and reducing dependency on any single sector.
Workforce Development
Education and workforce readiness are key to the success of any community. We partner with local schools, Northwestern Oklahoma State University, and High Plains Technology Center to sponsor scholarships, develop training programs, and support STEM education. These initiatives are designed to equip the next generation with the skills needed to thrive in a competitive job market.
